Description
Gepps Cross Girls Technical School opened on 9 February 1965 with 225 students enrolled, 170 in the First Year and 55 in the Second Year. (1)
In 1974, the school ceased to operate as a technical school and became known as Gepps Cross Girls High School. (2)
In 2006 Gepps Cross Girls High School, along with Enfield High School, Ross Smith Secondary School and Gepps Cross Senior School, voted to close and become part of a new multi campus school to be built at Sports Park, Gepps Cross. (3)
Gepps Cross Girls High School closed at the end of 2010, with the new school, Roma Mitchell Secondary College, opening at the beginning of 2011.
