Description
The school began on the 9th Februay 1954 with an enrolment of 85 students.
By 2010 Enfield High School population includes over 45% of students who are from a non-English speaking background. The largest group of students are from Vietnamese, Aboriginal, Cambodian and Lebanese cultures.
Facilities included a music studio, gymnasium and drama studio, canteen, resource centre, IT suite and extensive sporting facilities.
Enfield High School closed at the end of 2010. The school community is part of the Education Works Multi Campus Secondary School program which will see a new school building being built on Briens Road, opening in 2011.
