Description
To provide education for students from Reception to Year 7.
Schooling commenced in this area in 1869, with 30 Students enrolled at "Jerry's Flat School". The name changed to Forest School in 1883 and remained the same until 1961 when it became Lenswood Primary School. The present main school building was built in 1883, with accommodation for the then teacher. Electricity was switched on 30/5/52. Many children are second and third generation students. The welfare Club commenced in August 1935, and now named Parents and Friends, with enthusiastic parent input. There has always been a strong governing Council.
