Pre-selected for the seat of Fisher in 1983.
Elected on 7 December 1985.
Defeated on 25 November 1989.

The current seat of Fisher was created in the 1983 Redistribution. It takes in the southern suburbs of Aberfoyle Park, Bellevue Heights, Darlington (partial), Eden Hills (partial), Flagstaff Hill, Hallett Cove (partial), Happy Valley, O'Halloran Hill, Reynella (partial), Sheidow Park, and Trott Park.

The area has a predominantly young population and experienced a housing and population boom just prior to, and during, this term of office.

In fact, at the time of the 1983 distribution the Boundaries Commissioners predicted a population increase of 8% per annum. This proved to be an under estimation and Fisher actually exceeded the quota by the 1985 Election and more than 30% over quota in 1989.

Memberships during Parliamentary Term:

1. Member Public Works Standing Committee 1986-1990.
2. Member Flinders University Council 1986-1989
3. Aberfoyle Park High School Council 1983-1989
4. Reynella East High School Council 1983-1989
