Description
Nailsworth High School was a high school located in the suburb of Enfield, situated approximately 7 kilometres north of the Adealide city centre.
From 1925 to 1976, Nailsworth had separate secondary school streams for boys and girls. These schools were originally called Central Schools and from the 1940's to 1976 were called Technical High Schools. In 1977, Nailsworth Girls Technical High School and Nailsworth Boys Technical High School merged to become Nailsworth High School.
In 1995 Nailsworth High School was amalgamated with Northfield High School to form Ross Smith Secondary School. The Nailsworth High School site at Regency Road, Nailsworth was closed and its student and teacher body relocated to the Ross Smith Secondary School site on Hampstead Road, Northfield.
