Register of children placed with licensed foster mothers - State Children's Department (GRG27/18)

This series contains a register of children placed by the State Children's Department with foster mothers from 1902 to 1910.

It records: child's name, age, legitimacy, parents' names and addresses, date of placement with foster mother and her name and address. Dates of inspectors' visits and comments are also noted. The children included in this register are infants and they are noted as 'over age' once they reached the age of three.

The register is self-indexed alphabetically by the child's surname.
