Description

This series contains a register of admissions to the Industrial School, 1862-1877; the Boys Reformatory School, 1869-1882 and the Girls Reformatory School, 1871-1882.

Information recorded includes number, name, age, nationality, religion, date of admission, circumstances of admission, date of discharge, sentence, transfers, parents and guardians.

Volume appears to have been started during 1873 and includes cases already existing at the time. The Boys' Reformatory entries cover the period when the Reformatory was located at Magill (1869-1880) and then for two years at the Port River as the Reformatory Hulk 'Fitzjames' (1880-1882).
