Description
This series, arranged alphabetically by name, consists of liaison files for young Aboriginal offenders remanded at the South Australian Youth Training Centre (SAYTC)/Magill Training Centre. Information such as Court Mandates, Assessment panel reports, Liaison Court instructions, Social background reports, Admission reports & Psychiatric assessments are captured in this series.
Highly personal information about individual offenders is held within this series, such information includes medical issues, family/personal background, offending history and names and addresses of all involved with offenders.
Due to the enormity of Department Resources required to merge this series with their 86 client files, it has been decided to use the same sentence as given to the respective 86 client file. This ensures the information on both files is kept for the same time period.
Female offender's files are generally red in colour.
