Card index relating to court appearances - Cavan Training Centre (GRS/12663)

This series consists of index cards for court appearances of inmates at the Cavan Training Centre. The cards contain the following information: client name and date of birth, whether the client was Aboriginal, name of social worker, and the District Centre and Region from which the client was case-managed. The data on the cards included admission and discharge dates from the Cavan Training Centre, the type of offence, the date of court appearance with the type of court, bail details and orders applied. Many cards were given a Stats No. which related to the item number in a book that was maintained of client admissions to the Centre.

The cards were maintained in groups relating to each custodial unit, and were filed in alphabetical order by client name.
