This series comprises seven large volumes (registers) recording the admissions to Enfield Receiving House, later Enfield Hospital from 1922 to 1979, with a gap from August 1960 to June 1966. For this period, see GRS 12214.

In addition to admission number and date, the information recorded includes: date of previous admission, given names and surname "at length", gender, age, "condition as to marriage", "condition of life and previous occupation", "previous place of abode", admission authority, medical certification date and by whom, various entries relating to medical condition, discharge/transfer/death date(s).
