Description
This series consists of a volume titled 'Inmates Record' used by the Adelaide Maternity Home to record information about unmarried women admitted to the Home.
Entries are arranged chronologically by date of admission into the Home and include name, age, date admitted and summary notes that often describe how the woman came to the home and her circumstances after leaving the home. Some entries also include the date of birth of the child and a brief account of the outcome for the child.
