Description
This series consists of a register of infants born at McBride Maternity Hospital to unmarried or separated mothers.
Entries were made roughly in order of date of discharge of the infant. Information recorded includes number, name, date of birth, where born, period of breastfeeding, date discharged, health of infant, date and cause of death (if deceased), whether affiliated, whether the infant is with mother, fostered or adopted, and future address. Not all columns have been completed for later entries.
