Description

This series consists of a register of admissions to the Receiving Wards at Hillcrest Hospital that appears to have been kept for statistical purposes.

The volume records date of admission, admission number and name, and has columns indicating whether the patient was admitted or transferred in. Each of these columns is divided into sections for male or female, and 'C', 'I' or 'CL', and these are tallied at the end of each page. Later entries also record the wards patients were admitted to.
