Description
This series contains an index to admissions for the Northfield Mental Hospital. Although it includes patients admitted between 1929 and 1964 it appears to have been started in about 1943 and only includes patients still in the hospital at that date. Patients who were admitted and discharged or died before that date are not recorded in this volume.
Information recorded includes name and admission number. Most entries have also been annotated with ward number, date of death or discharge, and codes relating to admission such as 'J.P.', 'R' or 'Criminal'.
