Subjects covered by the files include aboriginal matters, child protection, community development, complaints, fostering of children, social planning, research and development and young offenders.

Arranged in three-tiered numerical order. Some Consignments contain records that do not belong in this series. Files in GRS 2401, 2402, 8572 and 10237 strictly speaking belong in this series.
