Gives brief minutes of business discussed by the State Children's Council and its successor, the Children's Welfare and Public Relief Board, and relating correspondence file numbers. Covers subjects such as approvals for prospective foster parents, details of applications from parents to have children released from State control, prosecutions for unlicensed lying-in homes, misconduct and education of State wards, allegations of neglect of State wards, extensions and reductions of sentences, transfers of children, subsidies, wages, marriages of State wards, and absconders. There are a small number of references to adoption.
