Description
This series comprises four bundles of typed lists of emigrants expected to embark at London from 1926 to 1929. These emigrants received assisted passages to emigrate and were nominated by friends or relatives in South Australia. The lists includes emigrants who were nominated or selected under different schemes, including nominated civilians, 'domestic helpers', 'Big Brother' scheme and AIF repatriation. The lists are typed.
The lists, bundled by year, give the following information:
- name of ship
- date of expected departure and arrival
- nomination number or file number
- name of nominee
- number of dependants
- landing money
- religion
- name of friend or relatives in South Australia
- remarks, e.g 'nominated civilian', 'domestic trainee', 'selected domestic', 'nominated domestic' etc
Some of the lists have been annotated in handwriting to indicate additional information, e.g if an emigrant did not board, date of ship's arrival etc
The bundles are arranged in reverse chronological order by due date of arrival of vessel in Adelaide.

The pages are not bound, but were housed with metal split pins attached to straw board with pink ribbon attached for a handle to hang the lists by. The lists have been repackaged by Archives' staff.
