Reports to Board of Management - Home for Incurables, later Julia Farr Centre Inc. (GRS/17714)

This series contains reports to the Board of Management of the Home for Incurables (known as the Julia Farr Centre from 1981) from 1962 to 1983 (with a gap from June 1965 to January 1968).

The reports were generally written by various committees, including the Building and Grounds Committee, Finance Committee (including Public Relations Department), House Committee, Medical and Admissions Committee and Nursing Advisory Committee.

There are also special reports relating to staffing matters, visits to other institutions, issuing of new rules and regulations, and policies, etc., and annual reports to subscribers from the Board of Management are included.

Residents are named, mainly in the Medical and Admissions Committee reports (which include all admissions, discharges and deaths in a particular month). There are also frequent references to the Industry Quest (Queen of Industry, Miss Industry and Princess of Industry) in the Finance Committee reports.
