The series includes files related to the following agencies and bodies: The Department for Communities and Social Inclusion (DCSI), Department for Families and Communities (DFC), Department of Human Services (DHS), Disability SA, Intellectual Disability Services Council (IDSC) and Julia Farr Services.
Files were registered in the Department of Human Services' Objective Electronic Document Records Management System (EDRMS) from 2020 and are arranged by annual single number with a 'DHS' prefix. The Objective numbering does not reflect the date range of the files, nor the files' original creators.
