Agency Search Series Search

Agency ID *

This field is required

Agencies have IDs beginning with GA or GRG (e.g. GA456 or GRG12). Do not add a space between any characters.

Series Type *

This field is required

Series types are defined by codes beginning with GRS, GRG or MRG (GRG and MRG have a number attached, e.g. GRG27). Do not add a space between any characters and numbers.

Series ID *

This field is required

Series have a numerical ID, for example the number 3.

After you’ve entered a series type and ID, then enter consignment and unit details (if known).

Consignment ID

Within series, consignments have a five-digit numerical ID, for example 00004. For best results, search a consignment in conjunction with a series.

Unit ID

Within a consigment or series, individual units (typically a box or volume in the archive) have a numerical ID, for example the number 97. For best results, search a unit in conjunction with a series.
